Guadeluope, French Antilles
2017
It is innovative to bring the radical weather activity of the French Antilles region located in the Caribbean, inside a restaurant. Thus, the design of this bar presents a whirlwind made of wooden pieces and LED lights as the centrepiece of the space, symbolising the fusion of the finest French and Japanese cuisines.
Curves are essential. From the central sculpture to the armchairs and decorative elements, they constantly seem to twist and turn. This is intending to create the feeling of being in the vortex of a hurricane at all times.
